New snow is so beautiful. It frosts the air and softens the sharp edges, of things and people and places. The world hushes, watches, waits, and hears only the quietness of snowfall. 
Christmas 2010 brought "firsts" for me -- my first Christmas with my precious granddaughter, who looks like a little snowbaby here
and my first ever White Christmas. 
The snow was gone before New Year's Day. But I felt blessed to have experienced it.
I don't make New Year's Resolutions, but I hope the peace and happiness I felt this holiday season abides with me throughout the year to come. I wish the same for you.
